InnovaCare Health Is In the Great Hands of Richard Shinto (CEO) and Penelope Kokkinides

He began his career as an internist and pulmonologist in southern California. Rick Shinto graduated from the University of California at Irvine, with Bachelor of Science and a medical degree from State University of New York, Stony Brook. The chief administrative officer of InnovaCare Health is Penelope Kokkinides – she rejoined the firm in June 2015. She had served the company earlier in the capacity of a chief operating officer and the vice president of Clinical Operations. Just like Dr. Rick Shinto, Penelope has more than 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry with a focus on government programs (Medicaid and Medicare) as well as the managed care industry. Penelope boasts of vast knowledge and expertise in the creation of clinical programs and the management of healthcare operations and processes – specializing in the improvement of efficiencies and infrastructure of organizations.

In an interview with ideas mensch, she said that she could not clearly define her typical day as it is never the same. Penelope travels a lot and is constantly in search of ways to help her remain productive. She is usually more productive while in the air attributing it to the fact that it is the most peaceful part of her day.
