Norman Pattiz is an American broadcasting entrepreneur who founded Radio Networks, Podcast One and Westwood one. He is the Executive Chairman and Director in Podcast One. Norman has achieved greatness in many ways including his broadcast industry emerging the largest provider of Sports, News, talk, entertainment and traffic programming in America. Westwood One provides NBC radio networks, March Madness, NFL Football, CNN radio, The Super Bowl, Broadcasting system, winter and summer Olympic Games, talk shows and music.
Norman Pattiz is the Chairman of Los Alamos National Security Laboratories and the Lawrence Livermore. He is also a Regent of the University of California and a member of the Pacific Council on internal Relations and Foreign Relations. Norman Pattiz is married to Dr. Mary Turner Pattiz for more than 30 years. They both live in Beverly Hills.
In 2010, Pattiz launched Courtside Entertainment Group, which has a task of distributing quality programming. By the end of 2012, Pattiz had already realized underlying opportunities in audio in different broadcasting industries. This led him to launch Podcast One, which ended up leading in production as well as audio distribution. The company has grown and extended to the point of producing 200 popular podcasts.
Norma Pattiz was first appointed by President Clinton in 2000 and reappointed again in 2002 by President Bush to work at the Broadcasting Board of Governors of the USA. The board’s main mission is to oversee all U.S. non-military broadcasting services, I.e., Radio Free Europe, Radio Liberty, The Voice of America, and Middle East among others. Pattiz contributed much into launching Americas Arabic language radio and television services to all countries in the Middle East, thereby reaching 40 million listeners.
